For the last 11 years, I've taken photographs of the games, players, coaches and fans at the Middletown Summer Hoopfest, produced by Malik Pemberton and his organization 1 Family Inc. My goal has been to record some of the effort, spirit, and grace played out in the games at Hoopfest. I enjoy being a photographer for Hoopfest and plan to do it again this year. Certainly these pictures have historic value and hopefully some of them attain poetic worth.
